SANTA FE – Mr. Arnold Wayne Hockenbury, 68, passed from this life Friday evening, November 21, 2008, in Webster and went to be with our Lord and Savior.
Born October 11, 1940 in Arkansas City, Kansas, Mr. Hockenbury had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1976. He had worked as a meat cutter with several retail grocery chains over the last 37 years, enjoyed woodworking, horseback riding, collecting and watching movies, playing dominoes, fishing and especially traveling with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Kathleen Hockenbury and brothers, Roy and Bruce Hockenbury, survivors include his beloved wife of 31years, Pamela Hockenbury of Santa Fe; sons and daughters-in-law, Darren and Judy Hockenbury, Wally and Brandy Hockenbury, Jerry and Misha Hockenbury, all of Santa Fe; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Joe Belloumini of Texas City; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Carolyn Hockenbury of Sallisaw, OK; sister, Caroline; mother-in-law, Annie L. Chapman of Leesville; grandchildren, Janis Capadona, Hayleigh Hockenbury, Ryan Belloumini, Rachel Belloumini, Ashley Hockenbury, Aubri Hockenbury, Tyler Hockenbury, Cayla Hockenbury; great-grandchild, Riley ; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2008, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Mr. Daniel Serenil officiating. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, (409) 925-3501.
