David William Teel

 

LAMARQUE - Mr. David William Teel, 62, passed from this life Monday evening, November 7, 2011, in Texas City.

 

     Born February 6, 1949 in Galveston, Mr. Long had been a lifelong resident of Santa Fe, until moving to LaMarque with his sister Kathy. He was a graduate of Texas City High School, proudly served in the U. S. Army and worked as a carpenter in the construction industry.  He was a longtime member of Carpenter Local #973 and loved spending his time talking, cooking and fishing.

 

     Preceded in death by his father, William Lewis Teel; nephew, Jack Ryan, III and brother, Joseph Coy Teel, survivors include his mother, Frances Teel; sons, Brian David Teel and wife, Jennifer, Jason Roy England; grandchildren, Shelby Teel, Jason Teel, Savannah Teel; brothers, Timothy Teel, Jerry Duke, Michael Lee Teel, Jonathan Paul Teel and companion, Pam Kiedrowski; sister, Kathy Marie Teel and faithful friend, James Skains.

 

     Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2011, at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501, Pastor Gary Sills officiating.  Interment will at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

    Visitation will be 5:00p.m. – 8:00p.m.on Thursday at the funeral home.

 

    Casketbearers will be Donald “Boogie” Eastep, Donald Eastep, William Eastep, Brian Teel, Mike Teel and James Skains.
