Diana Milligan Conely

 

SANTA FE - Mrs. Diana Milligan Conely passed from this life Monday morning, October 31, 2011, in Webster.

 

     Born January 20, 1948 in Galveston, Mrs. Conely had been a resident of Santa Fe for over 20 years, previously of Galveston.  She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Hitchcock and enjoyed being out with family and friends and crocheting.  

 

     She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 22 years, Bert Emory Conely, III and her parents, Joseph and Madalena “NANA” Milligan and is survived by her sister, Anna Marie Milligan of Hitchcock and numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

 

       A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2011, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Reverend John Kappe, Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Old Catholic Cemetery in Galveston under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, (409) 925-3501.

 

    Casketbearers will be Gary Beall, Joshua Brown, Anthony De Ranieri, Gino De Ranieri, Johnny Guisti, Edwin Luper, Christian Lusby and Michael Lusby.

 

    Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with a Vigil beginning at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Joe Kelly, followed by a Rosary recited by Mr. Don LeCompte.

 

    Those who wish may make donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, New York 10004.

 

     The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU nurses at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center: Johnny, Jerry, Christina and Kelly, for the love and care they gave Diana.
