SANTA FE – Mr. Gary Dale Wallace passed from this life Monday morning, August 24, 2009, at home.
Born June 25, 1952 in Denison, TX, Gary was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe and spent over 20 years as a water district operator with the City of Santa Fe. Mr. Wallace enjoyed attending horse races, barbequing and especially loved his granddaughter.
Preceded in death by his father, Earl “Tiny” Wallace and brother, Bryan Lewis Wallace; survivors include his mother, Anita Wallace of Santa Fe; wife, Sherilynn Bobbit Wallace of Santa Fe; son, Roger Corbett Wallace of Burlington, Ontario, Canada; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Mike Wallace of Santa Fe, Kathy and David Hayles of Lake Conroe, Donna and P.J. Johnson of League City; granddaughter, Breanna Neal Wallace; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, (409) 925-3501.
