Herman Allen Konzack

 

TEXAS CITY - Mr. Herman Konzack passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, November 2, 2011, in Texas City.

 

     Born January 30, 1921 in Alta Loma, Mr. Konzack had been a longtime resident of Brazoria County. He was an iron worker by trade working for Peterson’s Brothers and proudly served in the U. S. Marines during World War II.  He was a member of VFW Post #5400, loved spending his time dancing and fishing.

 

    Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lucile Konzack; sisters, Viola Miller, Dorothy Fraser and Allene Springer; survivors include his daughter, Claudia Bradley and husband, Ronnie; sister, Emma Gene Kotz; his children, 7 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

      A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, (409) 925-3501.

The family would like to thank Ashton Park Care Center staff for Herman’s care.
