Joe Puga, Jr.

 

     WEBSTER - Mr. Joe Puga, Jr. passed from this life Sunday, August 26, 2007, at UTMB in Galveston.

 

     Born October 24, 1967 in Texas City, TX, Joe had been a resident of Webster for 2 years, having lived in Santa Fe for 37 years.  He had been employed as a parts manager for Sand Dollar Ford for 7 years and enjoyed fishing, playing darts, shooting pool, the outdoors and hanging out at Slick Willies. 

 

     He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Puga, Sr. and is survived by his children, Crystal Lee Bishop and husband, Kelric of CO, JoeWesley Andrew Puga of Webster, Anthony Ethan Puga of CO; grandchildren, Kiamana Jade Bishop, Nirel Xavier Bishop; mother and step father, Cristela and Arturo Guerrero of Pasadena; brother, James Cabarubio and wife, Nicole of Santa Fe; sister, Josette Husband and husband, Steve of La Porte; step sister, Ana Bentura and husband, Manuel of Pasadena; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

     Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2007, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Pastor Manuel Gill officiating.  Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

     Casketbearers will be Jordan Cabarubio, Chris Fernandez, Matt Jones, Andy Lopez, Willie McDowell and Tino Varela.

 

     Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
