Wanelle Armbrecht
SANTA FE – Mrs. Joyce Wanelle Armbrecht went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday morning, August 15, 2008.
Born July 27, 1928 in Goldthwaite, TX to Charles “Buck” and Thelma Faulkenbery, Wanelle lived in Waco until the late 1940’s when she moved to Houston to begin her career with “Ma Bell”. She married Wayne Armbrecht in 1950 and they spent the next 46 years in the Houston and Pasadena area. Wanelle retired in 1972 and in 1996 they relocated to Santa Fe. A devout Christian, she was a member of the Ruth Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Alta Loma, a devoted wife to her husband, a loving mother to her daughter and will be remembered a woman who loved the Lord Jesus Christ, her family, Santa Fe, being a Texan and being an American, in that order!
In addition to her husband, Wayne, she is survived by her daughter, Cindy Armbrecht and brother, Cecil Faulkenbery, all of Santa Fe.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, Pastor John Newton officiating.
Those who wish may make memorials in the form of donations to Crisis Pregnancy Support Center. P.O. Box 164, Texas City. Texas 77592.
