Calvin Andrew Curole

 

TEXAS CITY – Mr. Calvin Andrew Curole went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday afternoon, November 19, 2009, in Texas City.

 

     Born October 11, 1931 in Cutoff, LA, Mr. Curole had been a resident of Texas City for over 45 years.  He worked as a draftsman for many years with Hoovers and ICI and enjoyed hunting, working around the house and especially loved people and his work.  

 

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew J. and Mercedes (Lefort) Curole; brother, Alvin Curole and grandson, Jim.

 

    He is survived by his beloved wife, Maxie Curole of Texas City; stepson, James McGlocklin of Casper, WY; stepdaughter, Brenda Barbier of Katy; brother and sister-in-law, Harrison P. and Beverly Curole of Prairieville, LA; sister, Doris Simpson of Metarie, LA; grandchildren, Diana, Tara, Alex, Nicholas and Bridget; great-grandchildren, Kelci, Gavin, Koleman, Aidan and other relatives and friends.

 

     Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2009, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum with Deacon Joe Hensley, Jr. officiating. 

 

     Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501, with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.
