Clay Jefferson Allen, Sr.
LA MARQUE - Mr. Clay Jefferson Allen, Sr. passed from this life Saturday morning, January 8, 2011, in Texas City.
Born May 3, 1955 in Galveston, TX, Jeff had been a lifelong resident of Galveston County and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Astor B. and Jerry Anne (Morgan) Allen.
Survivors include his daughter, Crystal Allen Crouse of Clear Lake; son, Clay Jefferson Allen, Jr. and wife, Allison of League City; grandchildren, Kylie Crouse, Clay Jacob Allen and Aubrey Allen; sister, Linda Kay Allen Crisco and husband, Ronnie of Santa Fe; brother, Joe D. Allen, Sr. and wife, Renee of Hitchcock; 4 nephews; a niece; 9 great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, (409) 925-3501. As per Clay’s request, a private cremation was held.
