David Ford, Sr.
LA PORTE - Mr. David Ford, Sr. passed from this life Saturday, November 22, 2008, in Houston.
Born March 11, 1949 in Long Beach, CA, Mr. Ford had been a resident of La Porte for 10 years, previously of League City and had been employed as a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines for 8 years previously employed with Amoco Chemical in Chocolate Bayou for over 20 years. David had a love for his family, motorcycles, life itself and enjoyed spending time snow skiing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Delores (Hall) Ford.
Survivors include his loving wife of 12 years, Jan Ford; sons, David Ford, Jr., Jeremy Ford and wife, Myra; stepson, Darren Moon; stepdaughter, Wendy Moon; grandchildren, Sammy Ford, Joey Ford, Robin Ford, Landon Walters, Lauren Walters, Sophia Moon; sisters, Renee Luna and Glenda Ford.
Memorial services will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Walter Hall Park Pavilion in League City, TX. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Hwy 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501.
