David Kenneth Mitchell

 

SANTA FE – Mr. David Kenneth Mitchell passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009.  He was born April 15, 1980 in Webster, Texas and is survived by his parents, William B. and Joanne J. Mitchell of Santa Fe; daughter, Dezyrae Mitchell and her mother, Jennifer Harrison of Galveston; brother, Nicholas Mitchell; sister, Kathryn Mitchell and partner, Jesus Olivares and their son, Armando Olivares; grandparents, Pauline and Charles Myers; uncles and aunts, Timothy and Irene Mitchell, Joseph and Margaret Mitchell, Douglas Mitchell, Alfred R. and Pamela Searle, Paul and Diane Miller, Peter and Rosemary Raffaele, Louis and Kathleen Scozzari; great-aunts and great-uncles, Coral and Pete Kaburick, Kathleen and Doyle Booker, Patricia and Doug Burnham and many cousins in New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, Illinois, Missouri and Texas.

 

    He was preceded in death his grandparents, William B. Mitchell, III and Kenneth J. and Elizabeth R. Searle.

 

     David had a loving heart to many people and many friends who will miss him dearly. He loved to fish and he was successful in all he had done in the time that he was with us.

 

     Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Hwy 6, Hitchcock, (409) 925-3501. A private cremation and interment will be conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

 

     Those who wish may make memorials in the form of donations to the Capital Campaign at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 10114 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX 77563.
