Delbert W. Templeton
SANTA FE - Mr. Delbert W. Templeton passed from this life Thursday, March 19, 2009, at his home.
Born September 5, 1933 in Moody, TX, Mr. Templeton had been a resident of Santa Fe for 21 years, previously of Lubbock. He had been self-employed as an electrician for many years and had served in the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Eula Mae (Stringer) Templeton and is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Doris Templeton; children, Ricky L. Templeton and wife, Frances, Timmy L. Templeton, Donna Rene Grocholski and husband, Harry, Tonya Diane Hufhines and husband, Joe; sisters, Betty Weir, Dee Pierce, Joyce Ray; grandchildren, Crystal Aldaco, Destiny Micklin and husband, Justin, Timothy Templeton, Delbert Templeton and wife, Sarah, Mark Carr and wife, Danielle, Chris Templeton, Rachel Rosier and husband, Cody, Lisa Templeton, Laurel Howard and husband, Ben, Renee Bickerstaff and husband, Kenny, D’etta Penaloza, Brandon Hufhines, David Templeton, Rebecca Templeton, Joshua Grocholski, Monica Grocholski, Lindsey Grocholski; great-grandchildren, Bryan Aldaco, Jerry Templeton, Angela Bickerstaff, Anthony Penaloza, Amelia Rosier, Hannah Templeton, Ethan Templeton, Emma Rosier, Angel Penaloza, Christopher Bickerstaff; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Paul Robinson officiating. Services are being rendered under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501.
