Donald W. “Don” Burrows
ANCHORAGE, ALASKA - MSGT Donald W. “Don” Burrows (USAF Ret.) passed from this life Tuesday, February 17, 2009, in Alaska.
Born December 26, 1940 in Henderson, TX, Don had been a resident of Alaska for 38 years, previously of Santa Fe. He served in the US Air Force for 21 ½ years before retiring in 1983 as a Master Sergeant. He then worked in civil service as a parts monitor for 12 years, and was of the Methodist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David M. and Beatrice L. (Randle) Burrows, Sr.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 40 years, Niki; son, Dion Napier; daughter, Carla Napier; granddaughter, Brianne Boudreau; brothers, David Burrows and wife, Theresa, Dick Burrows and wife, Cathie, Randy Burrows all of Santa Fe and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2009, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Dr. Mark W. Randle officiating. Interment will follow at Alta Loma Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Larry Bishop, David Burrows, Eugene Burrows, Randy Burrows, Tom Damon and Eddie Johnson.
