Edmond Doyle Hyatt

 

     HITCHCOCK - Mr. Edmond Doyle Hyatt passed from this life Wednesday evening, December 19, 2007, in Texas City.

 

     Born September 11, 1956 in Houston, TX, Mr. Hyatt had spent his youth in Hitchcock, having graduated from Hitchcock High School in 1975 before moving to Beaumont.  He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator, was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting and had recently returned to his hometown. 

 

     Survivors include his son, Doyle Hyatt Gibson and wife, Rachel of Gravett, Arkansas; parents, Alice Faye and George L. Stephenson of Hitchcock; brothers, Michael Stephenson and wife, Rachael of Hitchcock, Louis Stephenson of Texas City; sisters, Judy Hyatt of Onalaska, Linda Vaughn and husband, Buggs of Atlanta, TX; nephews, Gerald and Eric Stephenson, John Cionek, Clayton and Brandon Vaughan.

 

     Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007, at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, TX with Mr. Don Vann officiating.

 

     Visitation will be held in the Parlor of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501, Friday from 5 - 8 p.m.
