Jack Jordan
SANTA FE - Mr. Jack Jordan passed from this life Tuesday morning, September 27, 2011, in Houston.
Born August 6, 1946 in Coalinga, CA, Mr. Jordan had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1968. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked more than 41 years as a truck driver. He was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church and loved archery and rifle target shooting.
Preceded in death by his parents, Gail and Eleanor (Johnson) Jordan, survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra Jo (Corriveau) Jordan of Santa Fe; sons, Matthew Jordan and wife, Amanda of LaPorte, Christopher Jordan of Alvin, Mark Jordan and wife, Monica of League City, David Jordan and wife, Jessica of Guam; grandson, Gary Matthew Jordan; and sister, Sharon Mendenhall of Mountain View, CA.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Hwy 6, (409) 925-3501, with Dr. Rick Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Ken Hayes, Christopher W. Jordan, David A. Jordan, Mark J. Jordan, Matthew J. Jordan and Earl Routh.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
