BROOTEN, MN – Mr. James Olen Crump passed from this life Monday, February 18, 2008, at his home.
Born December 28, 1975 in Texas City, James had attended Santa Fe High School and graduated from Moose Lake High School in Moose Lake, Minnesota. He was of the Catholic faith and had worked for Galveston Co. Sheriff’s office, the DeSota Co. Sheriff’s Department in Mississippi and was currently working on his family’s farm in Minnesota.
Survivors include his parents, David and Gayle Crump of Brooten; daughter, Megan Brooke Crump of Mississippi; brother, John Arthur Crump of Idaho; sister, Carey Lynn Crump of Minnesota; grandmother, Rosalie Ring of Santa Fe and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, Father Dominic Pistone officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Friends may sign James’ book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
