James Micheal Frye

 

SANTA FE – Mr. James Micheal Frye passed from this life Monday afternoon, November 8, 2010, peacefully at his home.

 

     Born May 14, 1947 in Hillsboro, WI, Mr. Frye had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1983 formally of Bayou Vista.  A retired building engineer for Bay Brook Mall for 21 years, James had proudly served our country in the United States Navy during Vietnam, was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #5400 in Santa Fe and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed antique tractors, working in his yard and camping with his family.

 

     He was preceded in death by his father, Charles James Frye; survivors include his loving wife of over 27 years, Cindy Frye of Santa Fe; mother, Doris Frye of Janesville, WI; sons, Joe Frye and wife, Jennifer of Beaumont, TX, James Frye and wife, Jeannie of New Braunfels, TX and Jeff Frye of Santa Fe; grandson, Isaac Maldonado of Beaumont, TX; brother, Everett Russell Frye of Hobbs, NM; sisters, Carla Eakins of Madison, WI, Teresa Kippert of California and Roxanne Gardner of Sun Prairie, WI.

 

     A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2010,  in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Turner officiating. 

 

     Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
