James K. Warren, Sr.
SANTA FE – Mr. James K. Warren, Sr. passed from this life Friday morning, April 23, 2010, in Nassau Bay.
Born August 18, 1938 in Milano, TX, Mr. Warren had been a resident of Santa Fe for 45 years. He was a truck driver for 40 years and loved his trips to Las Vegas. Mr. Warren enjoyed squirrel hunting with his brother, barbequing with friends and will be lovingly remembered as a devoted family man, who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and drinking coffee with the guys.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ivy Howell and Winnie (Hooks) Warren and sister, Wanda Mae, he is survived by his loving wife of over 49 years, Billie Warren of Santa Fe; son and daughter-in-law, Kinnie and Marta Warren, Jr. of Santa Fe; daughters and son-in-law, Brenda Warren of Houston, Kelly and Wayne Logan of Santa Fe; brother and sister-in-law, Lenard and Wanda Warren of Rockdale; sisters and brother-in-law, Pat and Huey Monty of Pearland, Faye Stowe of Baytown; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park with Mr. Butch Barkdull officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Casketbearers will be Robert Everett, Dalton Logan, Braeden Schufeldt, Garrett Warren, Kody Warren and Warren Younger. Honorary casketbearer will be Preston Logan.
