Jimmy G. Balli, Jr.

HITCHCOCK – Mr. Jimmy Garcia Balli, Jr. passed from this life Saturday morning, July 5, 2008 at his home.

Born June 26, 1955 in Galveston, Jimmy had been a lifelong resident of the Hitchcock area, had been an operator with Rohm-Haas in Pasadena for 30 years and enjoyed fishing and reading his Bible.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy G. Balli, Sr.; grandparents, Manuel and Demitra DeQuez, John and Manuela Rodriguez and uncle, Gabriel Gonzalez, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Petra Balli of Hitchcock; step-sister, Janie Rodriguez of League City; stepbrothers, Jake Rodriguez of Galveston, Joe Rodriguez of Colorado Springs, CO, John Rodriguez of Houston, Robert Rodriguez of Galveston, Richard Rodriguez of Hitchcock; friends, Billy and Tammie Decker of Santa Fe, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Jones officiating. Interment to follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Frank Leyva, Phillip Leyva, Richard Rodriguez, Mario Serna, Frank Vela, Jr. and Americo “Chapa” Zepeda.
