Juan Manuel Sanchez

SANTA FE - Mr. Juan Manuel Sanchez passed from this life Sunday morning, October 17, 2010, at UTMB in Galveston.

     Born March 27, 1957 in Matamoros, Mexico, Mr. Sanchez had been a resident of Santa Fe for 30 years, previously of Mexico.  He had been self-employed as a truck driver for 30 years and he enjoyed going to concerts, watching TV and especially visiting with his friends and family.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Getrudes and Maria Guadalupe (Guerrero) Sanchez and his brother, Saul Sanchez.

     Survivors include his sons, Juan Manuel Sanchez, Jr. and wife, Brigitte of Santa Fe, David Sanchez and wife, Patricia of Houston; daughters, Estela Sanchez of Houston, Maria Hernandez and husband, Agustin of Santa Fe, Adriana Sanchez of Hitchcock; brother, Modesto Sanchez and wife, Evangelina of Alvin; sisters, Gloria Sanchez of Hitchcock, Rosa Maria Gamboa and husband, Roberto of LaFeria, TX; 16 grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2010, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

     Casketbearers will be Mario Contreras, Agustin Hernandez, Cesar Munoz, Thomas Munoz, Jaime Rodriguez, Modesto Sanchez and Modesto Sanchez, Jr.
