Margarito “Ray” Rincon

 

SANTA FE - Mr. Margarito “Ray” Rincon passed from this life Saturday, October 9, 2010, at his home.

 

     Born January 6, 1936 in Waelder, TX, Mr. Rincon had been a lifelong resident of Santa Fe.  He had been employed with Gay Pontiac for 40 years as a paint and body expert.  Margarito was an avid reader and enjoyed Rock n Roll music.  He was a great-great uncle and was known as a kind, generous man.

 

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Florencio Rincon and wife, Rita (Torres).

 

     Survivors include brothers, Rudy Rincon of New York and Roger Rincon of Santa Fe; sisters, Zenaida Rodriguez and husband, Manuel of Houston, Ernestina Espinoza of Galveston, Tommie Solis of Santa Fe, Enedina Guzman Avers of La Porte, Mary Bermudez of Houston, Mary Lou Herrera and husband, Gilbert of Alvin.

 

     A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father John Kappe officiating.  Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

     Casketbearers will be David Bermudez, Ricky Guzman, Jennifer Herrera, Christopher Rendon, Christina Rincon and Edward Solis. Honorary Casketbearers will be Gilbert Herrera.

 

    Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501, with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.  hayesfuneralhome.com
