Michael “Mickey” Scott
 

JUNCTION, TX – Mr. Michael G. “Mickey” Scott passed from this life Wednesday evening, May 18, 2011, at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas. 

     Born August 29, 1943 in Quitman, Texas, Mickey had lived in Bayou Vista for 34 years before recently moving to his ranch in Junction.  He had worked as a sales representative for Lorillard Tobacco Company for 34 years, had served in the U. S. Navy and enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, working on his ranch, raising cattle and chasing his bride. 

     Mickey is survived by his wife of almost 41 years, Linda; son, Matthew Garnet Scott and his wife, Tanesa; daughter, Michael Sue Scott; sister, Patty Sue Ingram and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Michael Garnet Scott, II, Victoria Ellen Scott; step-mother, Emalee Scott; mother-in-law, Peggy Seelbach; sister-in-law, Peggy Fothergill and husband, Sam; 3 nieces, 2 great-nieces, 3 great-nephews and his special friend and right hand man, Mike Lemire, III. 

     Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home.
