Milton Perdue, Jr.

 

     ALVIN - Mr. Milton Perdue, Jr. passed from this life Tuesday morning, December 11, 2007, at his home.

 

     Born February 5, 1931 in Montgomery, Alabama, Mr. Perdue had been employed as a car salesman for McRee Ford for 17 years.  He enjoyed selling cars, watching football, gardening and vacationing.  He was very much a “people person” and loved country and western music. 

 

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton C. and Elsie (Gaines) Perdue, Sr.; sister, Correll Perdue and nieces and nephews.

 

     Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Shirley Perdue; sons, Gary Perdue and wife, Lanieca of Alvin; daughters, Tracie Carter and husband, Paul of Spring, Terri Weaver and husband, Tommie of Alvin; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. 

 

     Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Pastor Victor Hay officiating.  Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

     Casketbearers will be Paul Carter, Brandon Perdue, Gary Perdue, Derek Sharp, Tony Valentinis and Tommie Weaver.
