Paul P. “Krunch” Krenek

 

HITCHCOCK – Mr. Paul P. “Krunch” Krenek passed from this life Thursday morning, April 23, 2009, in Nassau Bay.

 

     Born April 16, 1957 in Galveston, TX, Mr. Krenek had been a lifetime resident of Hitchcock.  He worked as a head line mechanic for Centerpoint Energy for 31 years, was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and of IBEW Local #66.  Krunch had been involved in the Hitchcock little league.  He loved living on the water and enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting.

 

     Survivors include his wife, Reneé Louise Krenek and his family, Mary and Ronnie Blount, Patricia and Ronnie Kelemen, Tammi and Chad Perkins, Clint and Heather Winwood, Katye Parsley, Margie and John Parsley, Ann Parsley, Edna Krenek, Frances Scribner, Freddie and Thelma Moser, Sr., Freddie and Donna Moser, Jr., Curtis, Kevin and Erica, Heather and Josh Young, Annette M. Anderson, Bren Noel, Andy and Kelly Kelemen, John Kelemen, Matt Kelemen, his boys, Justin Moody, Blake Moody, his four legged companion, Honey Girl; numerous other family members and friends.

 

     A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Reverend John Kappe, Celebrant.  A private cremation will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

 

     Pallbearers will be Mark Cook, George Hatch, Leroy Knapp, Joel Welch, Rodney Click and Jeffery Faulkner.

 

     Honorary pallbearers will be IBEW Local #66 Brothers, Rocky Click, Jaime Cantu, Jeff Faulkner, Ronnie Blount, Ronnie Kelemen, Johnny Parsley, Andy Kelemen, John Kelemen, Matt Kelemen, Justin Moody and Blake Moody.

 

     Friends may visit with the family beginning at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. 

 

     Those who wish may make memorials in the form of donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 10114 Hwy 6, Hitchcock, TX 77563.
