Robert Charles Jackson

 

Webster - Mr. Robert Charles Jackson passed from this life Monday evening, October 24, 2011, in Webster.

 

     Born May 3, 1949 in Galveston, Mr. Jackson had been a 38-year resident of Hitchcock, previously of Galveston. Following his military service with the US Marine Corps, he worked for Houston Shell and Concrete as an operator for more than 25 years. A member of the Church of the Nazarene, he enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.

 

     Preceded in death by his father, Frank Charles Jackson; brother, Frank Walter Jackson and brother-in-law, Harry McGill; survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, JoAnn Jackson; mother, Else Jackson; sons, Mark Jackson and wife, Roshelle of Santa Fe, Frank Jackson and wife, Jamie of Freeport; brother, Johnny Jackson and wife, Judy of Carrollton; sister, Jannette McGill of Bacliff; granddaughters, Shelby Jackson and Sadie Jackson.

 

     Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, Pastor John Newton officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway Six (409) 925-3501.
