Ronald Louis Holliday, II

 

SANTA FE - Mr. Ronald Louis Holliday, II passed from this life Thursday, December 15, 2011, in Texas City.

 

     Born May 29, 1964 in Houston, TX; Mr. Holliday had been a lifetime resident of the area. He worked for more than 10 years as a Project Manager in the Telecommunications industry and was known for his love of fantasy football (especially Brett Farve) and his excellent building skills. Most recently he had taken on a new title of “Rancher Ron” with acquisition of cattle. However, he will be most remembered for the love he had for his wife and family.

 

    Preceded in death by his mother, Alice (Locke) Holliday; grandparents, George and Faye Locke and Christine Kaufman; survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Kim Holliday; daughter, Courtney; son, Tyler; father, Ronald Louis Holliday; sisters, Ellen Tesch and husband, James, Ronda Kerr and husband, Tommy; brother in law and sister in law, Duane and Sherri Harris; nephews, Ryan and wife, Michelle, Evan and wife, Kenzi, Brandon and wife, Lyndsay, Zachary and wife, Taylor; nieces, Jamie and husband, Charlie, Colleen and husband, Chris, Crystal and husband, Juan, Emily and numerous great nieces and nephews.

 

   Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2011 in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home 10412 Highway Six, (409) 925-3501, Pastor Alan Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.

 

  Casketbearers will be Brandon Harris, Duane Harris, Evan Harris, Zachary Harris, Charlie Larson James Tesch. Honorary bearers will be Ryan Garner, Tommy Kerr and Luke Perez.

  
  Visitation will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
