Anita Quiles

 

BACLIFF – Mrs. Anita Quiles passed from this life Monday evening, December 27, 2010, in Texas City.

 

     Born November 16, 1956 in Elgin, Illinois, Mrs. Quiles had been a resident of Bacliff for 7 years, previously of Lake Jackson.  She had worked as a boilermaker/pipefitter helper at various local plants for 9 years, was a member of the Catholic faith, enjoyed gambling trips with her husband and will be remembered by her family as a wonderful mother and grandmother and an extraordinary cook.

 

     Preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Sophia Marie, survivors include her husband, Patrick Quiles of Bacliff; children, Christopher Quiles, Bacliff, Angelica Quiles and her fiancé, Dr. Ron Sullivan of Dallas, Preston Patrick Quiles and his girlfriend, Jennifer of Boston, MA, Jonathan Richard Quiles, Bacliff; brothers, Ben, Jehovan and Joseph DeLaGarza and sisters, Lori Rayburn, Theresa Sweetman and Esther DeLaGarza, all of Florida and grandchildren, Selina Elise, Constance Sabrina and Lincoln James Quiles.

 

     Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, Reverend John Kappe officiating.  Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park.

 

     Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the parlor of the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.

 

     Those who wish to honor Mrs. Quiles’ memory may consider memorials in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or to the family c/o P. O. Box 610, Santa Fe, Texas 77510 to aid with medical expenses.
