Betty Lee Tackett
HOUSTON - Mrs. Betty Lee Tackett passed from this life Monday morning, December 1, 2008, in La Marque.
Born February 23, 1925 in Springfield, Ohio, Mrs. Tackett had been a resident of Houston for 41 years. She had worked at Pilgrim Cleaners’ Edgebrook location for 15 years before retiring in 1987. She was an avid reader, collected teapots and enjoyed spending her time going to flea markets and garage sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Williams and is survived by her sons, Tim Tackett of San Antonio, Tom Tackett of Houston; daughter, Tina Riener and husband, Robert Carsile, Jr. of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Megan Martin, Tara Stanley, Chelsea Martin, Ciara Carlisle; and brother, Carlin Williams and his wife, Vernell of Oregon.
A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
