TEXAS CITY - Mrs. Charlotte Dawn Mills passed from this life Wednesday morning, October 22, 2008, in Texas City.
Born November 24, 1923 in Los Angeles, CA, Mrs. Mills had been a resident of Santa Fe for over 65 years. She had been a homemaker, was a member of Santa Fe Christian Church and enjoyed raising her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Ulysess (Buster) Mills.
Survivors include her son, James Mills and wife, Billie; daughter, Charmaine Wright and companion, Jim Tester all of Santa Fe; grandchildren, James Mills, Amy Kelm, Jamie Allaun, Stacie Rogan, Scott Rogan; great-grandchildren, Haylee Kelm, Hannah Kelm, Tyler Allaun, Trace Allaun, Brandon Ringo, Shawn Rogan, Samantha Ringo; great-great grandson, Jacob Ringo; sisters, Teddy Haymond and husband, Terry of Arizona, Joy Siler of Colorado.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2008, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Gary Sills officiating under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501.
