SANTA FE - Dawn Michele Ross passed from this life to be with her Father on February 21st, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, Texas after a long illness.
Dawn was born at Mainland Center Hospital in Texas City, Texas on July 17th, 1975. She attended Santa Fe High School. She loved music, concerts & her favorite place in the world was the beach. The most important thing in her life was spending time with her family. She was a devoted and affectionate wife, mother, daughter & sister. Her smile could light up a room.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael D. Arnold, Sr.; grandmother, Sadie Arnold; great-grandmother, Camille Galloway & best friend, Kelly Lindenmeyer. She leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Michael Ross; children, Shannon, Casey & Dustin Ross; mother, Sharon Arnold; brothers, Michael D. Arnold, Jr. & wife, Brandy, Luke Arnold; grandmother, Pauline Riggs; father-in-law, Ken Ross & wife, Judy; mother-in-law, Julia Ross; brothers-in-law, Chris Ross & Tommy Ross; sisters-in-law, Kathy Mullen & husband, Chris, Peggy Shannon & husband, Wayne, Kim Barron; nieces & nephews, Kayla & Rian Arnold, Adrien Shipmen, Jonathan Perez, Stormy Arnold, Brian & Courtney Mullen, Wayne, Kelly & Robin Shannon, Hunter Ross & goddaughter, Elissa Lindenmeyer. She will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & friends who loved her very much.
Pallbearers are Rian Arnold, Adrien Shipman, Jonathan Perez, Oscar Frye, Al (Bubba) Paddy & Bevin Runnels. Honorary Pallbearers are Casey & Dustin Ross.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are sent to the Dawn Ross Memorial Fund at Texas First Bank.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the nursing & medical staff of St. Luke’s Hospital and Dr. Antonio Ramos for their compassion & never-ending support.
