Dorothy Grace (McFerrin) Brune
HITCHCOCK - Mrs. Dorothy Grace (McFerrin) Brune passed from this life Friday morning, December 10, 2010, in Texas City.
Born June 28, 1925 in Monterey, TN, Mrs. Brune had been a lifetime resident of Galveston County where she was a loving wife and homemaker. Dorothy enjoyed shopping and was a member of Abundant Life Christian Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha (Upchurch) Jernigan; brothers, Gene, Woodrow and Charles Jernigan; sister, Geraldine Rector.
Survivors include her loving husband of over 20 years, Max Brune; daughter, Grace Brown of San Leon; grandchildren, Camela Hill, Jonna Seward and Christopher Brown; great-grandchildren, Andé Seward and Joshua Hill; sister, Bonnie Williams of Knoxville, TN, Johnnie Grubb of Kettering, OH.
Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Hayes Grace Mausoleum with Pastor Alex Yovan officiating. Entombment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum.
