PEARLAND – Mrs. Fonda Mae Kostelnik passed from this life Saturday morning, July 18, 2009, in Pearland.
Born September 23, 1920 in McAllen, Mrs. Kostelnik had been a resident of Pearland for 2 years, previously a longtime resident of Old Ocean and Galveston. She was a homemaker, enjoyed reading and cherished the times she could visit with her family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph, survivors include her daughters, Linda J. Trevathan of Pearland, Debra Lynn De La Garza and her husband, Joe of Spring; brothers, Joe Crosson, Bay City, Lonnie Crosson, Sweeny and Tommy Crosson, Garland; sisters, Ida Belle Brumley and Ruby Sargent, both of Pasadena; grandchildren and their spouses, Jerry and Michele Callaway, Rhiannon and Nate Chad Morris, Roxanne De La Garza; great-grandchildren, Jerry Allen “Tripp” Callaway, III, Jake Gilbert Callaway, Nate Cayden Morris and Nate Seth Morris.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock with Mr. Russell McLaughlin officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Monday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
