Frances Perez
HITCHCOCK ~ Mrs. Frances M. Perez passed from this life Saturday evening, February 12, 2011, peacefully at her home in Hitchcock.
Born January 18, 1923 in Texas City, Texas, Mrs. Perez had been a lifetime resident of Galveston County, having spent the last 50 years in Hitchcock. She was a loving and devoted mother, a homemaker and a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Gilbert Perez, Sr.; her parents, Ventura and Julia (Rosas) Martinez; son, Michael Perez; daughters, Mercy Bosquez Lahman, Margaret Ann Davidson and Linda Marie Cloud; survivors include her sons, Gilbert Perez, Jr. of Alvin, Robert Perez of LaMarque, Steve Perez of Hitchcock; sister, Lupe Sanchez of Texas City and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Galveston Memorial Park with Pastor Leonardo Diaz officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
