Freida June Fredericks

 

HOUSTON - Mrs. Freida June Fredericks passed from this life Thursday evening, August 27, 2009, in Clear Lake.

 

     Born July 8, 1923 in Wichita, KS, Mrs. Fredericks had been a resident of Houston since 2005, previously of Santa Fe, TX. She worked as a timekeeper with Monsanto for over 30 years and served in the United States Navy during WWII for 4 years. Mrs. Fredericks was the director of the Santo Club in Dickinson and enjoyed bingo, the outdoors, horses and especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

 

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Fredericks; parents, Elmer and Leona (Brady) Higgs; sisters, Donna and Anita.

 

    She is survived by her sons, Dennis Brennan, Tim Brennan; daughters, Carol Brennan and Valerie Lee; brother, Gerald Higgs; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

 

     Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2009, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Chaplain John Morris officiating.  Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

     Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501.
