Georgia Marie Richie

 

TEXAS CITY - Mrs. Georgia Marie Richie passed from this life Thursday morning, June 10, 2010, at her home.

    
    Born June 14, 1931 in Big Rock, VA, Mrs. Richie had been a longtime resident of Galveston County.  She had been employed with Tyson foods as a poultry processor for 10 years and had managed the Quarter Machine game room for 3 years. Mrs. Richie attended First Baptist Church of Texas City.

    
    She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Stacey; son, Clay Stacey and 9 brothers and sisters.

    
    Survivors include her sons, Douglas Reynolds, Johnny Stacy and wife, Jackie, Bobby Stacey; daughters, Bonnie Pruitt and husband, David, Margaret Ann Stewart and husband, Lester, Debbie Hudgens, Tina and Robert Ochoa, Regina and Sam Garcia; brother, Isaac Reynolds; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    
    Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Pastor John Newton officiating.  Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
