Shaun Michael Langford



DICKINSON - Shaun Michael Langford passed from this life Thursday afternoon, December 6, 2007, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.


Born December 19, 1984 in Houston, Shaun was a resident of Dickinson. Shaun’s talents included guitar playing, drawing, designing motorcycles, writing poetry and music. He enjoyed muscle cars and motorcycles, including his 1970 Pontiac GTO. He also has a collection of watches and knives. He took enjoyment in the gothic way of life with his expressive style and music. 


He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Hergesheimer, Hosea T. (Bob) Purvis and great-grandmother, Vivian Bearden.


Survivors include his father, David Langford; mother, Melinda Hergesheimer; brothers and sisters, Dusten Crider, Camryn Crider, Ian Langford and Taylor Langford.


A Graveside service will be conducted 12:00 noon Monday, December 10, 2007, at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Gary Milbourne officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.


Casketbearers will be Dusten Crider, David Gilbert, Elias Hall, Dennis Langford, Tommy Langford and Clete Sizemore.
