Inez Coleman

 

LAKE JACKSON - Mrs. Inez Coleman passed from this life Wednesday evening, December 8, 2010, in Houston.

 

     Born May 22, 1926 in Natchez, MS, Mrs. Coleman had been a resident of Lake Jackson for 2 years, previously of Huntington, TX.  She had been a loving wife and homemaker for many years and was a member of the Church of God.  Inez also enjoyed bowling, painting and crafts.

 

     She was preceded in death by her son, Ronn Eugene Coleman; parents, Eugene and Mary Ida (Bearden) McIntire; son-in-law, David Moses; sister, Edna Walters.

 

     Survivors include her loving husband of over 68 years, J.C. Coleman of Lake Jackson; son, Gerald Wayne Coleman and wife, Latoria of Tampa, FL; daughters, JoAnn Moses of Santa Fe, Linda Carolyn Dunson of Lake Jackson, Gloria Lynn Parker and husband, Timothy of Brazoria; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Erma Lee Penn, Hazel Fuller and husband, Vernon, both of Santa Fe; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

     Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Reverend Jesse Slider and Reverend Bill Aimsworth officiating.  Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
