Irene Fisher Neve
SANTA FE - Mrs. Irene Fisher Neve passed from this life Wednesday morning, June 15, 2011.
Born October 21, 1928 in Jewett, TX, Mrs. Neve had been a resident of Santa Fe for 35 years, previously of Texas City. She had been employed as a food technician with the Alvin Community College for 17 years, was a member of Midway Church of Christ and she enjoyed sewing and working in the yard.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Mr. Gordon C. Fisher and Mr. T. C. Neve; son, Mr. Alton Glenn Gallaway; brother, Mr. Charles David Williams.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn S. Wright and husband, Jerry W. of Santa Fe; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, W. E. “Bill” Williams of Jewett, TX; sister, Florence Jean Broker of Alvin, TX; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Gallaway of Livingston; and her special friend, Judy Priselac of Alvin, TX.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2011 in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with her grandson, Mr. Richard Bowling, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Joshua Bowling, Matthew Bowling, Gage Bowman, Albert Priselac, Grant Priselac and Clayton Tombrella.
