Jean Gage

 

HITCHCOCK - Mrs. Beverly Jean Gage passed from this life Saturday morning, January 10, 2009, at her home in Hitchcock.

 

     Born March 9, 1948 in Waco, TX, Mrs. Gage had been a resident of Hitchcock for 4 years.  She had been a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and thoroughly enjoyed her bible studies and watching old western movies.  Jean also had a great love for her dogs, Peanut and the late, Little Bit.

 

     She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Gage and her parents, Vincent T. and Doris J. (Wood) Incardona of Waco, TX.

 

     Survivors include her sister, Patty Welborn and husband, Jerry of Bayou Vista; Nieces, Tracy Malone and husband, Dr. Mark of Austin, Vicki Varnado and husband, Jason of Houston; Nephews, Dodd Bates of Pasadena, CA, Jeff Welborn of Houston; niece Rachel DiSepio and husband, Dr. Dan of Carlsbad, CA; great-nephews, Jack and Matt Malone of Austin; great-nieces, Meredith Malone   of Austin, Demi Rose DiSepio; great-nephew, Damon DiSepio of CA.

 

     Visitation will be held from 6 – 7 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home.  Reverend John Kappe will be officiating the service beginning at 7:00 p.m. followed by the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. with Don and Marilyn LeCompte reciting.  Interment will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, TX under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501.
