TIKI ISLAND - Mrs. JoAnn Wallace passed from this life Tuesday morning, November 24, 2009, at her home.
Born September 11, 1945 in Bethesda, MD, Mrs. Wallace had been a resident of Tiki Island for over 6 years, previously of Katy. She had been a member of Midway Church of Christ, Society of Decorative Painters and enjoyed attending church and was an avid studier of the Bible.
Preceded in death by her parents, J. T. and Joyce (Guidry) Jones, survivors include her husband, Fred Wallace of Tiki Island; son, Bryan Wallace and wife, Barbara of Alvin; daughter, Jody Staton of Marble Falls, TX; grandchildren, Sara Staton, Corey Staton, Taylor Staton; brother, Allen Jones of Orange, TX; sister, Arlene Howland and husband, Marvin of Orange.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2009, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Mr. Russell McLaughlin and Mr. Fritz Barnett officiating. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
