Frances Juanita (Nenie) Clostio

 

     HITCHCOCK - Mrs. Frances Juanita (Nenie) Clostio passed from this life Tuesday, December 25, 2007, in Texas City.

 

     Born April 30, 1926 in Bastrop, Louisiana, Mrs. Clostio had been a resident of Hitchcock for 39 years, previously of Galveston.  She had been of the Catholic faith and enjoyed spending time reading.  Mrs. Clostio was a mild mannered, private person who was passive and a very sweet lady. 

 

     She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Hobson; mother and step father, Lolla (Matthews) and Ernest Hill; sisters, Betty, Audrey and Lorraine; brother, Ben Hobson.

 

     Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Les Clostio; brother-in-law, Earl Clostio and wife, Emma of Santa Fe; sisters-in-law, Dot Rogers of Galveston and Jeannie Schaper of Anderson, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.

 

     Funeral services will be conducted 9:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2007, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Reverend John Kappe officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

 

     Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501.
