     SANTA FE – Mrs. Lillian Ann Colombo passed from this life Saturday morning, February 9, 2008, in Webster.

      Born June 16, 1927 in Corpus Christi, Mrs. Colombo had been a resident of Santa Fe for 37 years, previously of Galveston.  She had been a devoted housewife and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where she served in the Friendship Club and the Alter Society.  Mrs. Colombo was a member of TOPS, enjoyed cooking and visiting with family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Colombo; parents, Alfred Fred and Mildred (Cox) Birmingham; one brother and one sister.

      Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Karen Colombo of Santa Fe; daughters, Susan Linabarger and husband, Mike of Santa Fe, Judy Godwin of Houston; brother, Alfred Fred Birmingham and wife, Betty of Houston; sister-in-law, Esther Mae Sharp of Las Vegas; nieces, Debra Tinney of Tomball, Linda Garcia of Houston; nephews, Allen Birmingham, Robert Birmingham, both of Houston; grandchildren, Kristen Colombo, Chelsea Colombo, Jessica Williams and husband, Cody, Michael Linabarger, Shelly Linabarger, Joshua Godwin and great grandchild, Cody Williams.
 
     A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Reverend John Kappe, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
 
     Casketbearers will be Allen Birmingham, Jeffrey Birmingham, Robert Birmingham, J. L. Jones, Michael Linabarger and Cody Williams.
 
     Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501 with a vigil service beginning at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Mr. Alvin Lovelady.
 
     Those who wish may make memorials in the form of donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 10114 Hwy 6, Hitchcock, TX 77563.
