Stanley Trahan
SANTA FE - Mr. Stanley Trahan passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, August 11, 2010, in Webster.
Born August 27, 1946 in Orange, TX, Mr. Trahan had been a lifelong resident of Santa Fe. He had served in the US Navy and had been employed as a carpenter. Stanley was a member of the VFW Post #5400, F.O.E. Aerie #3789 and enjoyed spending time playing darts, listening to music, singing karaoke and being with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, “Little Bit” Trahan and his parents, Leroy Trahan, Sr. and Alberta (Teal) Osburn.
Survivors include his sons, Daniel and David Trahan; daughters, Lawanda Clark Gustafson, Tammy Trahan, all of Santa Fe, Carrie Dodd of Dickinson; stepchildren, James, Violet, Marilyn and Danielle; grandchildren, Jacob McKinney, Joshua McKinney, Jarred McKinney, Jaidon Bray, Kaylah Clark, Andrew Clark, Matthew Trahan, Calan Dodd; brother, Leroy Trahan, Jr. of Lone Star, TX; sisters, Gladys Organ and husband, John of Lone Star, TX, Edith Gace and husband, George of La Marque.
A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Arcadia First Baptist Church with Pastor John Mincher officiating. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
