Stephen Carl Hays
HITCHCOCK – Mr. Stephen Carl Hays passed from this life Sunday afternoon, July 4, 2010, in Texas City.
Stephen had been a resident of Hitchcock since 1976 and was a Respiratory Therapist with UTMB for 28 years before his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed watching TV, playing guitar, listening to classic rock and jazz and especially loved being with his family and friends. Stephen loved to help other people and put their needs before his own.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Hays.
Survivors include his beloved wife of over 22 years, Judy Hays of Hitchcock; mother, Rozella Hays of Texas City; and daughter, Monica Hays of Hitchcock.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Tom Medlin officiating.
