Algoa – Mrs. Teresa Lynn Munoz, 44, passed from this life Sunday, September 21, 2008 at her home. Born February 7, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Munoz had been employed as a manager of Isle of Capri in Lake Charles, LA for 5 years; she enjoyed reading and her dogs Lady and Sophie. The love of her life was her family especially playing with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Rosa Metts and Ann Duncan.
Survivors include her loving husband of eight years, Jose E. Munoz; son, John Kellum of Hitchcock; daughter, Morgan Kellum of Hitchcock; grandchildren, Allyson Kellum, Shelby Kellum, Ashton Kellum, Makayah Kellum-Rivera and Jerimyah Kellum-Rivera; parents, Margie Schwarz and husband Raymond and Joe Boutwell and wife Virgina; brothers, James W. Touchstone and wife Susan of La Marque, Robert L. Caruthers of Santa Fe; sister, Sandra L. Block of Santa Fe.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Pastor Antonio Garza officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be John Cino, Ray Enfinger, Troy Gavin, Joe Little, Scott Redding and Gary Watkins.
