Ted Wayne Landry
SANTA FE – Mr. Ted Wayne Landry passed from this life Tuesday morning, March 22, 2011, in Nassau Bay.
Born January 10, 1944 in Church Point, LA, Mr. Landry had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1957. He had been employed with Union Carbide for 33 years as an analyzer technician. Ted proudly served our country in the United States Navy and had volunteered his time with the Santa Fe Fire and Rescue. He enjoyed being a member of the Santa Fe Citizens on Patrol, Rusty Hook Fishing Club and Master Gardeners Club where he taught computer to some of his fellow seniors. Ted also relished photography and was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John George and Genevieve (Savoie) Landry.
Survivors include his loving wife of almost 43 years, Mary “Pauline” Landry of Santa Fe; son, Jon Dalton Landry and wife, Roxy of Santa Fe; daughter, Tracie Spriggs and husband, Kenny of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Dalton Spriggs, Landon Spriggs, Susan Balli, Michael Stidham, Dawn McLawchlin and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Reverend John Kappe officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be held between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
Pallbearers will be Mike Stidham, Michael McLawchlin, Tommy McLawchlin, Chucky McLawchlin, Craig Landry and Jason Landry.
