Ted L. Secord
FAIRFIELD, TX - Mr. Ted L. Secord passed from this life Thursday evening, November 8, 2007, in Houston.
Born June 21, 1936 in Nash, Oklahoma, Mr. Secord had been a resident of Fairfield for 22 years and was a computer supervisor with Houston Lighting and Power for 36 years. He a member of the Catholic faith, enjoyed playing the guitar and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Lindsey Secord and parents, Theodore Vernon and Artha V. (Murray) Secord.
Survivors include his wife of 51years, Rosemary Secord of Fairfield; son, Gregory Vernon Secord of Houston; brother, Kermit Secord of Arlington; sisters, Sybil Wasson of Baldwin, MO and Sylva Williams of Ains, IA.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Reverend John Kappe officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Jimmy Harris, Cecil Lindsey, Stephen McCauley, David Peavey, Chris Secord and Mark Williams.
