Tim Freeman

 

LEAGUE CITY – Mr. Timothy A. “Tim” Freeman went home to be with his Lord on November 24, 2008.

 

     Born February 25, 1960 in Battle Creek, Michigan, Tim had been a resident of Texas since 1987, and had lived much of that time in League City.  Having worked as a computer programmer with American Express for the past several years, Tim was a member and Deacon of Texas Avenue Baptist Church in League City where he had been an active member of the nursing home team ministry.  He had also served as one of “The Minutemen” protecting our border and was a proud, lifetime member of the NRA.

 

     Preceded in death by his father, William E. Freeman, survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Jackie; son, whom Tim adopted, William Herschel Freeman of League City; Randy Markham of California; Michael Markham and wife, Shannon of Clear Lake; Julie Tillery Wagner and husband, Andrew of California and Michael Tillery of Michigan, all whom he raised as his own; mother, Colleen D. Freeman of Santa Fe; brother, William M. Freeman and wife, Brenda of Marshall, Michigan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynne and husband, Jerry Evans of Battle Creek, Michigan and Julie and husband, Doug Idema of Santa Fe; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other relatives.

 

     Memorial services will be conducted on November 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Texas Avenue Baptist Church, 320 Texas Ave., League City, Texas, Pastor Rudy Guerrero officiating.  A private cremation was conducted by Hayes Funeral Home in Hitchcock.
