Tony E. O’Neill
SANTA FE – Mr. Tony E. O’Neill passed from this life Friday morning, December 17, 2010, in Houston.
Born February 13, 1963 in Galveston, TX, Mr. O’Neill had been employed as a First Mate with AET Lightering for 22 years. He was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church, the Maritime Association and loved the water and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Bullacher and two of his brothers, Michael and John.
Survivors include his loving companion, Dawn Istre of Santa Fe; her son, Daniel Istre; her daughter, Destynee Istre, both of Santa Fe; mother, Virginia O’Neill of San Antonio, brother, Howard Ballard of Fredericksburg; sisters, Patricia Morgan and husband, John, Elizabeth Hicks and husband, Kenneth, all of San Antonio and numerous nieces and nephews in the South Texas area.
A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Smith officiating. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
