Stanton (Trey) Harold Baxter III

 

     GALVESTON - Mr. Stanton (Trey) Harold Baxter III passed from this life Thursday morning, February 7, 2008, in Galveston.

 

     Born November 6, 1981 in Galveston, TX, Trey had been a lifelong Galveston County resident, was an honest, sensitive, goodhearted man who loved his family and enjoyed traveling. 

 

     He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Esther I. Charleton, Joseph Charleton, Miner J. Turner, Stanton H. Baxter (Bud), Sr. and Rosalie Baxter.

 

     Survivors include his dog and faithful companion, Rusty; parents, Stanton (Buddy) Harold Baxter, Jr. of Santa Fe and Judy (Turner) Baxter of Galveston; brother, John Harold Baxter who is stationed in Iraq; sister, Amy Hunt of Indianapolis, Indiana; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

     Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2008, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Overton officiating.  Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

     Casketbearers will be James Honeycutt, Jeremy Severin, Anthony West, Drew West, Raymond West and Tony West.

 

     Friends may call from 3 - 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock (409) 925-3501.
